Have you ever left a long term relationshi BECAUSE someone better came along?

I had a friend when a new person came into the picture. She would drop them like flies. She would say my mother don't want me to date. she was in jr high at the time, it seem she had no problem dumping guys for the next new guy. I thought it was weird, she continues the process. she is now a senior in high school.
